ONGOING MAINTENANCE FOR NATIVE SEASHORE PASPALUM

Native Seashore Paspalum sod is a tough, hardy turf grass that once established, produces great erosion control and native grass habitat. Paspalum or salt grass as it is known will need a fair amount of water as it is best grown in an aquatic environment.  Whether salt or fresh water, once established, Paspalum Vagenatum can be a minimal care grass, however, placed in an aquatic environment, it can require sensitive care. We would recommend following the advice of the University of Florida in their paper, Seashore Paspalum For Florida Lawns.
